Bypass Protein Supplement
Manufactured in technical collaboration with National Dairy Development Board

Introduction
Protein meals fed to dairy animals are broken down by 60% to 70% to ammonia, by the rumen microbes. A significant part of ammonia is converted to urea in the liver and excreted through urine. Thus, a major part of expensive protein meals is wasted, for which animal spends energy. By giving proper treatment, the protein meals are protected and are saved from degradation in the rumen, getting digested in the lower part of the gastro intestinal tract, for higher milk production.

Benefits
1. Supplies higher proportion of amino acids per unit of protein meal.
2. Higher net availability of metabolisable protein in small intestine.
3. Higher amino acid availability leads to improvement in daily milk production.
4. Bypass protein manufacturing process kills fungi responsible for production of aflatoxins in protein meals.
5. Amino acids also help improving milk fat percent.
6. Bypass protein feeding improves SNF content of milk.
7. Increases net daily income of milk producers by about Rs.10 -12 per animal.
